Q: Are there any costs to accessing services from META ?
A: Services at META are no cost to you as we are funded by the Government of Canada and Employment Ontario.
Q: I need help with my resume. Can you do this?
A: We are a specialized service assisting people with disabilities and barriers to employment. If you meet the criteria, you may register with us and a counsellor will assist you through the process. If you are not a client with a disability and/or a barrier, we will direct you to the appropriate employment services.
Q: I’m looking to go back to school for re-training. Are there any programs at META that can help me with this?
A: Yes, our counsellors are qualified to help you through the Second Career application process. They have access to the resources and information that you may need. We also have a Training Preparation workshop available that assists clients who are seeking provincial funding for training.
Q: Do I need an appointment to come in for job search help?
A: In order to access services from META Vocational Services, you will need to complete an assessment. This can be done over the phone or in person. The assessment process will determine if this is the correct service for you.
